Construction

We pride ourselves on our exceptional early construction process of each of our granny flat projects. The process begins with evaluation of your existing block and proximity to existing builds. We then lay our high quality concrete slab down with sewer pipes, plumbing pipes and electrical pipes really to be hooked up.

Our granny flats are constructed to Australian standards (AS1684) and contain the following features:

• Timber framing, to AS1684
• External walls fitted with R1.5 batts, and Ceilings/roof fitted with R3.0 batts
• Concrete slab, according to structural engineering plans
• Duratuff Vinyl Cladding
• Water, Sewerage, Stormwater, Gas, Electricity & Phone services, connected from main dwelling where available
• Wall & Ceiling Linings
• 10mm plasterboard to all internal walls & ceiling. Villaboard lining to bathrooms
• 90mm coved cornices throughout
